The fleur-de-lis, the national symbol of Bosnia (which appeared on many period flags, insignia, and weapons), was carved in the stock. In addition the name "ENVIR IMAMOVIC" was written by a 8mm round under the right side of the rear sight. Enver Imamovic saved the Sarajevo Haggadah, a famous valuable Jewish illustrated book, from the Sarajevo museum. He took a police escort to the museum, while there was a battle outside - bullets were coming through the windows. The book was found in an old safe, and barely saved from basement flooding. He also wrote Bosnian nationalist books and papers during the war and afterwards. Lately he has been a professor at the University of Sarajevo, and has denied the existence of Bosnian pyramids.
I believe the sniper who used this rifle was inspired by Enver Imamovic, but was not actually him; the name is spelled incorrectly on the rifle, yet sounds similar. I have a number of links for more information on Enver. Sadly I have not been able to reach him myself... maybe you could help?
