This is a Greek Mauser M1930 that was used by Greece in World War Two, and likely ended up rebuilt in Romania after WWII ended.
A number of rebuilt Greek Mausers have come to light with Czech-made VZ24 stocks. While a number of countries could have rebuilt the rifles, the general quality of the builds, plus the fact Romania used VZ24's both from Czech supplies and on contract, makes them seem the most likely destination.
This rifle is still covered in cosmoline. The stock and hardware are from a Czech VZ24, while the barrel/receiver/bolt are Greek. The bore looks decent. The handguard is repaired, which would likely be totally replaced in more wealthy countries. The pistol grip area has holes poked by the end of an 8mm round. The cleaning rod oddly has the threaded end sticking out, and is stuck as to preclude removal. The importer is N.A. Co. Ridgefield N.J. and probably came in the USA in the early 2000's.
